Bankura’s Panchmura's is famed for their fired-clay models of horses and elephants. These were originally meant to be used during making-a-wish ceremonies.
 
Apart from the horse and the elephant, the traditional Shasthi dolls, Rail dolls, Manasaghat, Manasachali, Bonga dolls and Folk figurines are also part of the dolls from Panchmura. Artisans periodically introduce new models.
